"The Genji and the Heike Clans" is an action game released by NAMCO in 1986.
Players control the hero Taira no Kagekiyo on a mission to the capital city of Kamakura, to defeat the Demon Genji Clan's king Yoritomo.
The player will face attacks by Genji Clan soldiers like Yoshitsune and Benkei along the way to Kamakura. Defeat all challengers and gather the Three Sacred Treasures to defeat Yoritomo.
The "Arcade Archives" series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces.
Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores.
