[Story]
As Toya Nijimiya, a card battler living in Gate City, you'll battle alongside friends and rivals.
After winning the tournament to crown the strongest high school card battler, Toya returns to everyday life—until he hears a rumor.
Once a year, a tournament called the "Battle Spirits Cross Grand Prix" crowns the top card battler of the year, and word is that Toya and his friends might be invited.
With even professional players taking part, it's one of the biggest events in the Battle Spirits world, and Toya—now the strongest high schooler—burns with fighting spirit.
New characters enter the story: Noboru, a transfer student at Toya's school; Ryoko, captain of the Battle Spirits club at Kaiho Academy, where Toya's childhood friend Yu belongs; and Ichika, the pro battler who first got Toya and Yu into Battle Spirits.
Through the battles and bonds ahead, what will Toya ultimately find?
