Under the supervision of the mad scientist Dr. Beanies, you’re on a mission: breeding cats and sending them into battle on a series of increasingly weird and dangerous adventures. Your cats anchor a lineage that spirals into grotesque mutations with great powers and/or tragic flaws. You also meet other fanciers who grant bonuses or new quests in exchange for cats with certain traits. As each successive generation evolves under your influence, your cats’ lives and abilities unfold in unpredictable and darkly humorous ways.

Mewgenics presents an elegant blend of turn-based tactical combat with a deep, generational cat-breeding system. Players build evolving cat lineages shaped by inherited traits, mutations and defects, then deploy them in grid-based battles where factors like positioning or item synergies can mean the difference between survival and extinction. Special events and unexpected discoveries introduce new enemies, objectives and surprising challenges, with rewards that encourage experimentation, risk-taking and strategic planning.
