From the creators of Disco Elysium comes ZERO PARADES - the acclaimed espionage RPG, now expanded with the DIRECTOR'S CUT. You're a brilliant but tormented operant on one final desperate assignment. Prove yourself on the world stage - or blow it all up again.
The Director’s Cut adds a new Dramatic Encounter, approximately 40,000 words of new and expanded scenes, a playable behind-the-scenes Backstage mode, completed and revised English voice-over, and a range of visual, quality-of-life and accessibility improvements.
On PlayStation 5, the experience has been built around the DualSense wireless controller and the atmosphere of Portofiro. Adaptive triggers, haptic feedback and controller speaker support bring more of the world into the player’s hands, while 3D Audio and 4K presentation draw players further into its streets, conversations and spycraft.
NEW IN THE DIRECTOR'S CUT
A NEW DRAMATIC ENCOUNTER, THE QUISACH ROUNDABOUT. Hershel and Ramses attempt the deceptively difficult task of exiting a roundabout while extremely high. Miss the exit and a simple drive home descends into dangerous and potentially existential territory.
NEW SCENES, DEEPER RELATIONSHIPS. Nearly 40,000 words of new material give you more ways to build bonds with your friend and foe alike, find alternative ways to solve challenges, and delve deeper into your own embattled psyche.
BACKSTAGE MODE. Walk through earlier iterations of selected levels and see how the environments of ZERO PARADES evolved, with technical breakdowns, creative inspirations, cut content and stories narrated by the game's Art Director.
COMPLETED AND REVISED ENGLISH VOICE-OVER. Including a newly recorded opening alongside extensive audio revisions and fixes throughout the game.
MORE OF PORTOFIRO. New clothing, Reverie portraits, pedestrians, death screens and further visual and atmospheric additions.
QUALITY OF LIFE AND ACCESSIBILITY. Ultrawide support for 21:9 and 32:9 displays, inventory sorting, controller remapping and a new Photosensitivity Mode, alongside the broader refinements introduced since launch.
ESCAPE THE QUISACH ROUNDABOUT. You and your old friend Ramses are stoned out of your minds, behind the wheel of a hijacked tuk-tuk, and seemingly unable to escape the Quisach Roundabout. The objective is simple enough. Take the right exit and head home. Fail, and things might get existential. And possibly fatal.
STEP BACKSTAGE. Walk through earlier versions of the city and see how its spaces evolved on their way to the finished game. Interact with orbs to hear the team's stories, narrated by Art Director Kaspar Tamsalu, and find the content that was cut but never stopped shaping Portofiro.
MORE TO SEE, HEAR AND DISCOVER. A completed and revised English voice-over, including a newly recorded opening. New clothing, new portraits to mark Hershel's Reveries, more faces in the crowd, new ways to die. And when you scroll back through old dialogue, parts of it may now be redacted, because even your own history should feel classified.
